Birds of Prey Photography Workshop
Kestrel

Thursday 19th May 2022 . I had a most enjoyable day in Lowick, Northumbria on a Ron McCombe Birds of Prey Photography Workshop.
We were at Andy Howie's Studio using his Birds of Prey.
We photographed nine different birds of Prey.

This album was me photographing a Kestrel. Here are 29 images of the Kestrel. A beautiful bird.

All images are uncropped. JPEGS straight from the camera. No editing required. Only sized down for web viewing.

Well worth contacting Ron McCombe if you enjoy wildlife photograph. You don't need a long lens. Birds are about 2 metres from you at most.
For birds in pose. I used a Canon 70 – 200 f2.8 L IS II USM lens. Ron and Andy give great photography advice if you need it to get right settings for camera in studio setting.
Ron also has a badger and a wild birds hide in Scottish Borders. Both are terrific for photography.

We also photographed
