Wednesday 14th June 2023. I took my Sony Cyber Shot RX100V Compact Camera into Edinburgh to give it a right good go before I take it to Sorrento, Italy in July. Not taking my big camera and lens on a flight.
I had wanted for ages to photograph the Head Gardener's Lodge in West Princes Street Gardens, Edinburgh,
No one lives in the cottage nowadays. The Gardener’s Lodge is a Victorian house and garden located within West Princes Street Gardens in Edinburgh. The lodge was built by the town council in 1886, as they redeveloped West Princes Street Gardens as a public park. It’s called the Gardener’s Lodge because it was once the home of the Head Gardener; however, no-one lives there anymore. In 2015, it featured as “Great Aunt Lizzie’s Cottage” in the children’s TV series “Teacup Travels” on the Cbeebies channel
Here are three images of the Lodge.
I love the photographs the Sony Cyber Shot RX100V Compact Camera produces.
