| Glenfinnan Viaduct Steam Train - Jacobite Steam Train |
August 2015 - Has been on my photography wish list for some time. got there at last. The Jacobite Steam Train. Famous in the Harry Potter books. I captured it going over the picturesque Glenfinnan Viaduct on it's journey from Fort William to Mallaig.
I caught the train on the viaduct on the Monday.
On the Tuesday flooding caused the train journey to be from Fort William to Crianlarich. I caught up with the train near Rannoch Moor.
On the Wednesday. I caught the train at two locations. First again coming over Glenfinnan Viaduct. Then a couple of miles after Glenfinnan station.
Here are the images I managed to take. Note there are two trains. One numbered 62005 Lord of the Isles and the other 45407 The Lancashire Fusilier |
