Sunday 9th January 2022. The Moon was 47% waxing tonight. I photographed it from our front garden.
I used my Canon 1dx MkII Camera with Canon EF 400mm f2.8L IS III USM Lens and Canon 1.4 Mk III extender (converter) attached. Tripod. Mirror up to prevent movement when taking photographs. Pixel Pawn Wireless Remote to fire camera . That meant not even the slightest movement from me touching the camera. With a 400 lens even the slightest movement can affect the sharpness of an image from camera shake. |
