Joe Gilhooley LRPS Castlelaw Hill in Pentland Hills   Wednesday 19th January 2022. I waited for the right conditions to visit The Pentland Hills at House O'Muir on the A702 road near Flotterstone. I wanted to photograph Castlelaw Hill. I did not go any nearer as the Army had red flags flying on the Hill. Indicating live firing taking place. These views of Castlelaw Hill and surrounding area have interested me recently. I saw the view from my car and knew I had to return. Amazed that I have never thought of this location previously. The sky was forever changing. Clouds darkening, then brighness. The low winter sun was coming brightly from behind me directly onto the hills. It looked wonderful. At one time a part rainbow appeared over the hills. I ruturned the next day return on a clear blue sky day. Here are 40 images at various points. Looking over to Castlelaw Hill in The Pentlands.
