Saturday 6th August 2022 Many will know that I love photography connected to The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Especially the fireworks.
A super vantage point is on Calton Hill. Overlooking in foreground The Balmoral Hotel Clock Tower and The Scott Monument. Edinburgh Castle where the Tattoo takes place as the main feature of my images.
It suddenly got very windy and this moved the camera and lens on my tripod. I did get a few images between the gusts of wind. Here are 32 images.
I used my Canon 70 – 200 f2.8 L IS II USM lens on my Canon 1dx MkII Camera. Tripod and wireless shutter release. |
