I took this original shot of Eilean Donan Castle in 2007 with a compact camera. I loved the shot so kept the file.
In August 2013 I took a number of shots of the fireworks at the end of the Edinburgh Tattoo performances over the top of Edinburgh Castle
Me being me - I thought of ways to manipulate the fireworks images. Here I took the daytime shot of Eilean Donan Castle and blended in the fireworks from a few shots. I even created a blurred reflection in the sea. Yes I do enjoy post photography editing.
